How can I buy a Germany VPS with Bitcoin on Eldernode?
So I’m running a small side project and need a VPS in Germany for latency reasons. I’d rather pay with Bitcoin this time I don’t really use cards anymore for these kinds of things.
I found Eldernode and their Germany VPS plans look decent, but I’ve never used crypto to pay for hosting before. Does it work smoothly there? Do they actually accept BTC directly? And once you pay, how long does it usually take to get access?
Not sure how smooth it is in practice, so if you’ve used BTC there, let me know how it went.
Yeah, I’ve actually done that not too long ago.
I needed a VPS hosted in Germany for some localized SEO testing. I didn’t want to use PayPal or cards this time, so I figured I’d try Bitcoin on Eldernode and see how smooth the process was.
Ordering was pretty simple. I picked one of their Germany VPS plans, clicked “Order Now”, and during checkout, I saw Bitcoin listed as a payment option. They provided a wallet address and a QR code. I paid from BlueWallet on my phone nothing complicated. It took around 12–15 minutes for the transaction to confirm on-chain, and maybe 5 more minutes before I received the VPS login info via email.
What I liked was that there was no KYC, no long waiting period, no support chat just paid and got the server. It felt very straightforward, especially for crypto.
One small tip though: make sure your wallet calculates the network fee correctly. If your transaction fee is too low, it might take longer to confirm or even get stuck for hours. I’ve had that issue once with a different provider, but not here.
Also, if you’re wondering about server quality it’s been stable so far. The IP geolocation really shows Germany (Frankfurt), which was important for my project. I’ve been running some tools on it and haven’t noticed any lag or downtime.
So yeah, if you’re comfortable paying germany vps with Bitcoin (BTC) and want a Germany-based VPS without hassle, Eldernode is definitely worth a try.
